Two more people have been arrested in connection with a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, as stated by law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the injured during the incident. Five people were taken to the hospital for treatment and were later discharged.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were alerted at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of individuals injured by an irritating chemical believed to be pepper spray.

The assault - which police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in delays to rail services and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking facility for a short time.
